We understand that play-based learning & exploration has a place in a child's education. Research shows that when children are given open-ended opportunities to design and create without predetermined outcomes, they are able to develop crucial skills such as creativity, social interaction, and real-world problem-solving.

Heavener BPA Students Attend 2024 Oklahoma BPA Fall Leadership Conference
Norman, OK – Today, two dedicated students from Heavener High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter gave up part of their fall break to attend the 2024 Oklahoma BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Norman, Oklahoma. This year’s conference, held under the theme Bingeworthy Leadership, brought together students from across the state to develop leadership skills and connect with business professionals.
The conference theme, Bingeworthy Leadership, emphasized the importance of leading with passion, dedication, and a commitment to excellence—qualities that can captivate and inspire others. Through a series of workshops and activities, students explored how to apply these principles in their future careers and in BPA competitions.
We are incredibly proud of Kason Roberts and Bianca Lira, who sacrificed their personal time to participate in this event. Their commitment to growing as leaders and preparing for the challenges ahead is truly commendable.
The Oklahoma BPA Fall Leadership Conference continues to be a vital platform for high school students interested in business, technology, and leadership. Heavener High School’s participation underscores the chapter’s dedication to fostering a strong community of future business professionals.
About Business Professionals of America (BPA):
Business Professionals of America is the leading career and technical student organization for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, and other related fields. With chapters across the United States, BPA members are provided with opportunities to compete, learn, and grow in leadership skills that are crucial in today’s economy.
