Softball for today has been cancelled. Hopefully we can get our spring sport season started Monday with Baseball vs Westville here, JH/HS softball at Clayton and golf at Sapulpa. Have a great weekend WolfNation and as always WolfMeat
Hayden White is definitely one of the biggest ambassadors of MENTAL HEALTH we have on our campus and we are so proud of all his accomplishments in this very important area. Here is what he has to say about his most recent endeavor:
"About two weeks ago, I had a great opportunity to present to ODMHS (Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services). With this I discussed self care for teenagers and young adults. I had came up with the term "crossword of mental health & self care", to explain to them how a lot of day to day things affect our mental health and also how a lot of self care ideas cross paths. After working demo after demo, to the real thing, the feedback I had received was so positive! I'm just so beyond grateful for the people who have helped make this possible, especially the woman who told me she would never forget me two years ago. This is what I'm striving to do, is to have that voice for mental health for young adults, to have that talk others aren't willing to have, and to show people they matter. This is something I've been working towards and the fact it's happening really feels like a dream come true. As a leader for young adults and teenagers, I have to want to change, grow, and make things better today not tomorrow. If we wait till tomorrow some things will never get done. Again I'm so thankful for this opportunity and cannot wait to share my next mental health advocacy journey with everyone!" We are all so proud of you, especially your High School Counselors! Thank you, for being YOU!

HHS Drama is presenting their first ever STUDENT LED production! The performance, directed by Senior Hayden White will be March 1st at 5pm in the PAC. Admission is free. Come join us for the who-done-it mystery!
PreK through 8th grade have practiced kindness by collecting boxes and boxes of non-perishables for the "Blessing Box" here in Heavener! We are so excited to spread kindness throughout our community! ✨ #alphaproud #wolfpack
Heavener Elementary practices all five blocks of the SCIENCE OF READING. Students participate in reading groups, Orton Gillingham phonemic awareness lessons, vocabulary games, earn prizes, and do flashlight reading. We are seeing AMAZING gains in the students reading abilities! Way to go Wolves.
