Congratulations to our 2025 Senior Class Co-Valedictorians and Salutatorian!
Co-Valedictorians from left to right are as follows: Chloe Sullivan, Isaac Cook, Alexa Cruz, and Dawson Frizzell, and Salutatorian, Kennedy Lewis. All of these students have excelled academically and each one has met the requirement of completing at least 3.5 honor level credits by the end of their 2024-25 first semester. 7/8 Basketball Boys and Girls games will both be at Hartshorne tonight.
Heavener Public School had the privilege of hosting Dr. Steven Dryer, who shared his inspiring personal journey of growing up with dyslexia and the strategies that contributed to his success.
Additionally, Ms. Kim Seaton, our Regional Literacy Specialist, led a training session titled Science of Reading Dyslexia Takeout. This session equipped teachers with valuable insights and resources to support their students effectively.

A huge thank you goes out to HS academic team members, Hector Hernandez, Talan Hinds, and Dawson Frizzell for volunteering their time to moderate and keep time for our 5th & 6th grade Regional Academic meet this week. They did a fantastic job working the meet; however, their impact of being there was even greater as the 5th & 6th grade teams got to see leadership skills and encouragement in action. #alphamentors
