Heavener V Vian Game Wrap up
Heavener played against the Vian Wolverines last Friday night. The Wolves lost 31-0, but played a pretty good defensive game. The Wolves held Vian to only 17 points in the first half. They held the Wolverine’s quarterback to only 95 passing yards; Heavener struggled with the rushing game, giving up 273 yards and three touchdowns. On offense, Jordan Terry went 11 for 27 with 57 yards and one interception. On the rushing end, Jacob Hill had 14 carries for 35 yards and Connor Place had 5 carries for 31 yards. On defense, Luke Leder had six tackles and four Tackles for loss, Caleb Smith had eight tackles and three TFL, and Jonny Ardemagni had 10 tackles and 8 solo tackles. Heavener put a lot of pressure on Vian’s quarterback. Brent Laneave had two sacks, Caleb Smith had two sacks, and Luke Leder had three sacks. Ross Mcgee and Jonny Ardemagni both had one interception, and Luke Leder had one fumble recovery. Heavener plays at Eufaula this Friday night.
